About

We listen, act, and transform

Brain Builders was created with the intent to provide speech and language therapy grounded in evidence-based practices and family-centered care. Brain Builders recognizes that patients make optimal progress when they feel comfortable and confident. Our priority is to provide top-notch services while ensuring each session is a positive and fun-filled experience. Real-time parent training is provided so you can feel equipped to play a significant role in your child's speech, language, motor, sensory, and feeding development outside of therapy. With permission, collaboration with additional caregivers, teachers, therapists, and medical providers is ensured to provide an essential team approach to your child's progress.  Sara is an ASHA-certified and Maryland-licensed speech-language pathologist. Since completing her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at MGH Institute of Health Professions, Boston, she has worked in an outpatient clinic (Kennedy Krieger Institute, Center for Autism and Related Disorders), Harford County Public Schools (HCPS), rehabilitation (Mt. Washington Pediatric Community Rehabilitation Services), and private practice settings. Sara is an experienced, robust, and flexible therapist passionate about tailoring treatment to each patient's unique needs, preferences, and goals. Do you have any questions about our services?
